To apply for entrance to the Law Enforcement Academy please download and complete the following files:

Tuition
The tuition must be paid in full prior to the start of class. The tuition includes textbooks, the use of police duty gear and weapons. Ammunition is provided for the weapons. Review our residency website for information about residency requirements.

Uniforms
The uniforms must be purchased 30 days before class begins to allow for delivery time. Students must purchase several different kinds of training uniforms. The final cost will depend on the size and quantity ordered.

Scholarships
Several scholarships are available for Law Enforcement Academy students, ranging from $500.00 to $1000.00.  Complete the following scholarship information if you are interested:

Screening Fee
The Screening Fee must be paid in full at the time the application is submitted. The Applicant Screening Fee includes the cost of the Integrity Test, fingerprinting and drug screen. The Applicant Screening Fee is non-refundable. Applicants must successfully pass a medical examination prior to starting the training program. The Applicant Screening Fee does not include the cost of the medical examination. Applicants must use their own physician for the medical examination.

Class Schedules

The following class dates are approximate. The academies listed are for self-sponsored students only. If you wish to be sponsored by a law enforcement agency, you must apply directly to that agency. Full-time classes meet 40 hours a week for 25-27 weeks; Part-time classes meet 24 hours a week for approximately 40 weeks, depending on holidays.
