Professor Nolasco has been at HCC since January 2000 where she began as Assistant to the Dean of AS and Technical Programs. She  held this position for four years and then became a full time faculty member in English and Education. She has also taught as an adjunct for HCC and taught dual enrollment when she was a teacher for Hillsborough County. Ms. Nolasco is currently on special assignment working with Dr. Shawn Robinson as his Academic Assistant. She coordinates and implements several projects for him such as the Student Success Seminar Series, she writes the bi-weekly  campus newsletter, the Ybor Spotlight, and she coordinates several activities for the adjunct faculty.

Professor Nolasco holds an associates degree from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, a  bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Education from the University of Tampa, and a master's degree in English from the University of South Florida. She is currently working on her doctorate in Higher Ed. Administration at Nova Southeastern University.

Professor Nolasco is currently teaching an online course in ENC 1101 and a Tuesday night class in Teaching Diverse Populations. She also teaches ENC 1102, Intro. to Education, and has taught World, American, and British Literature as well as Intro. to Film and Technical Writing.
