Spirit Days at HCC - Ybor City
The first week of each month will be HCC Spirit Week from Monday through Thursday. With Thursday being Spirit Day!
Join us for the HCC Olympics, hosted by the Ybor City Campus Campus Advisory Council and Student Government Association.
Bookstore Discounts!!!
The Bookstores will be discounting HCC apparel 20% on the first Thursday of the month so that you can show your pride in Hillsborough Community College.
Scavenger Hunts!!!
Each Spirit Week will also include a Scavenger Hunt that will require participants to find the answers to 20 questions to answer that relate to HCC, the Ybor City Campus, Ybor City, and the people who make us a great institution --- the students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Scavenger Hunt questions will be available on this website during the first week and answers need to be delivered to the Ybor City Campus President's Office during the following week. The person with the most correct answers will receive a prize that represents the spirit of the Ybor City Campus. If there is a tie, the winner will be chosen at random from those with the most correct answers. The winner will be announced by the following Monday and will not be eligible to win again for four months. The answers to previous scavenger hunts can be found for November 2008 and February 2009. Expect Scavenger Hunts to resume in the Fall.
