Distance learning at Hillsborough Community College strives to bring HCC courses and programs to students through online or hybrid delivery. Online and hybrid courses have the same objectives, content, and transferability as campus-based courses. While not self-paced, these formats break traditional barriers of time and distance to meet our students’ expectations of convenience and flexibility.
The most successful students in online classes are highly motivated and disciplined individuals who are comfortable with technology, able to interact through discussion boards and blog posts, can access online publisher resources, and actively participate in their learning experience.
