Fire Academy
The HCC Fire Academy has served the West Central Florida area since the early 1970s by providing highly skilled firefighters to the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County and other surrounding municipalities. Classes are taught at the HCC Fire and Police Training Center and are scheduled year-round with a new academy beginning shortly after the previous one is completed. Currently we offer both part-time and full-time classes to accommodate our students. 

Part-Time Academy Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday evening 6:00pm until 11:00pm and Saturday 8:00am until 7:00pm.

Full -Time Academy Schedule:
Monday – Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm
