PURPOSE

This rule establishes policy regarding a Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedure for students at Hillsborough Community College.

RULE

The College President will develop and maintain a Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedure for Hillsborough Community College. Included in the Code and Procedure will be prohibitions against any form of hazing by a student(s) or student organization and prohibitions against disruptive activities. The Code and Procedure shall meet the requirements as established by federal and state mandates and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Code and Procedure shall be published in the HCC Student Handbook and include appropriate penalties for violations.
