PURPOSE
This rule establishes policy regarding the Hillsborough Community College catalog.
RULE
The Hillsborough Community College Catalog, as approved and adopted by the Board of Trustees, establishes admission and graduation requirements, with general information regarding academic programs, curriculum, student services, college facilities, personnel, and related information for students. In the event of a conflict between any provisions of the HCC Catalog and rules of the Board of Trustees, such rules shall govern.
The College President will maintain an annual review of programs and courses contained in the College Catalog. Those courses contained in the common course designation and numbering system which have not been taught for the preceding five (5) years (or less if desired) will be reviewed and shall be deleted from the Catalog by the Board upon the recommendation of the President. On a yearly basis, the President will certify to the Board of Trustees that the College has complied with the provisions of this policy as required.
The College President will develop and maintain an administrative procedure for the preparation of the College Catalog. The College Catalog shall meet the requirements as established by federal and state mandates and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
