PURPOSE

This rule establishes policy regarding the institutional effectiveness assessment and planning process at Hillsborough Community College (HCC).

RULE

With policy direction from the Board of Trustees, the College President ensures that Hillsborough Community College, through its institutional effectiveness assessment and planning process, conducts ongoing, integrated and collegewide, research-based planning and evaluation. The institutional effectiveness process will incorporate a systematic review of programs and services with the goal of resulting in continuous improvement and of demonstrating that the College is achieving its mission.

To implement this rule, the College President ensures the development and maintenance of an institutional effectiveness process for Hillsborough Community College. The process shall meet the requirements as established by federal and state mandates and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
