PURPOSE
This administrative rule establishes College policy for developing and implementing an information security plan to safeguard student personal confidential information.
RULE
It is the policy of Hillsborough Community College to protect and safeguard student personal confidential information pursuant to the provisions of state and federal law. With policy direction from the Board of Trustees, the President will develop and maintain an information security plan outlining the administrative, technical or physical safeguard used by the College to access, collect, distribute, process, protect, store, use, transmit, dispose of, or otherwise handle student personal confidential information.
