PURPOSE
This rule establishes policy regarding the waiver of out-of-state fees at Hillsborough Community College (HCC).
RULE
When requested, the President may waive out-of-state fees for governmental agencies or private industries in Florida who utilize the College for in-service training of their employees and who pay the appropriate in-state tuition fees for these employees.
The Board will waive out-of-state fees for honorably discharged Veterans and any other student who is entitled to and uses educational assistance provided by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs that are enrolled as a degree or certificate seeking student.
The President will implement an administrative procedure for determining eligibility for educational assistance provided by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
