Course Format:
Bail Bonding/Surety Agent is instructed as a fully live, online, synchronous course with multiple instructors (students must be actively logged in while instructors teach). Students are responsible for providing their own technology to participate in class by camera and microphone throughout the course period. Assignments are also submitted via HCC’s Learning Management System.
The course is instructed over 6 sequential weeks, on Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00am until 7:00pm, for a total of 12 course days.
Program Requirements:
State licensure expectations require 80% attendance. As a 120-hour total course, a student may not miss more than 24 total hours of instruction for any reason. Any student accruing more than 24 hours of absence will be dropped and must re-take the full course. Additionally, any student repeating the course after unsuccessful completion must be present and pay for the full course.
Course Availability:
The Bail Bonds course is offered twice annually, in Spring (April) and Fall (September) semesters.
Instructional days are Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00am until 7:00pm daily, for a total of 12 days over a 6-week period.
Course is fully online via combination of MS Teams and Canvas.

A student who graduates from this program will be eligible to become a bail bond agent for the State of Florida A PSAV Certificate in this program may be earned by completing 120 clock hours in the following course.
