The ophthalmic laboratory technician certificate teaches you surfacing, finishing and other tasks necessary to fabricate prescription eyewear. This program prepares you to work in a wholesale or retail optical laboratory.
This certificate applies to the opticianry AS degree, which prepares you for a supervisory or management position in the ophthalmic industry, while learning about safety and sports vision, customer service, and merchandising.
