Hillsborough Community College is a national leader in community college entrepreneurship education. Through the InLab@HCC, our interdisciplinary center for innovation and entrepreneurship education, we offer a comprehensive pathway of college credit entrepreneurship certificates and degrees.  Scholarships are available for our college credit programs.

Students who complete any of the academic programs below, qualify to apply  for business funding (up to $100,000) through our Everyday Entrepreneur Venture Fund.

College Credit Degrees and Certificate Options

Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship AS

This 60 credit AS degree helps students develop entrepreneurial thinking skills, such as identifying, valuing and capturing business opportunities.

Entrepreneurship Strategies CCC

This 25 credit certificate prepares students to start, execute, and grow a small business, or work as a value adding-employee intrapreneur for an existing business.

Entrepreneurship Ventures CCC

This 18 credit certificate is designed for students interested in launching their own business venture or working in a small to medium-sized business.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation CCC

This one-semester, 12 credit certificate is designed to equip current and aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue various business paths.

Additional Options

Entrepreneurship AA Pathway

This pathway is designed for students interested in transferring to a four-year institution to pursue a Bachelor's degree in business with a focus on entrepreneurship.

STRIVE

The STRIVE program is an entrepreneurship training program offered through Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), in partnership with Hillsborough Community College.
