Model United Nations Conferences

Each year, Hillsborough Community College actively participates in three prestigious diplomatic competitions:

 

Florida National Model United Nations (Gainesville, FL)

Southern Regional Model United Nations (SRMUN) (Atlanta, GA)

National Model United Nations (NMUN) (New York City)

 

These competitions offer students a unique opportunity to step into the role of ambassadors from United Nations member states. Student delegates engage in high-level debates on pressing global issues, deliver impactful speeches, draft resolutions, and negotiate with allies and adversaries. Through these experiences, they learn to resolve conflicts, navigate complex conference procedures, and foster international cooperation to address challenges that affect people worldwide.
