Center for International Education
The Center for International Education (CIE) supports an international learning environment at HCC through international (F-1) student recruitment, and admission and comprehensive orientation, advising and programming services. It also promotes study abroad programs, supports faculty professional development and facilitates initiatives aimed at internationalizing the curriculum.

HCC's Honors Program is designed to promote a rigorous academic program for exceptionally talented and motivated students at no extra cost.
Educator Preparation Institute
The Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) is a fast-track Pre-K through 12 teacher preparation program that provides an opportunity to use your Bachelor's degree to become a teacher in less than a year.
EAP Program
English for Academic PurposesHCC offers English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses on three campuses: Dale Mabry, SouthShore and Ybor City. The curriculum is designed for students who plan to study at a U.S. college or university, or seek better employment opportunities.
FUSE Program
GUARANTEED TRANSFER TO USFAn exciting partnership between the University of South Florida (USF) and eight Florida colleges including HCC, the FUSE program provides seamless pathways for students to earn both an associate degree and a bachelor's degree.
IGNITE
GUARANTEED TRANSFER TO FAMUIGNITE is a program between Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and several Florida College System institutions, including HCC. It is designed to provide seamless pathways to get both an Associate of Arts degree at HCC and a bachelor degree from FAMU.
InLab
BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIPInLab is the centralized hub for all things related to innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and social venturing offered at HCC.
Let's Get 2 Work
Get A Great Job, Let’s Get to Work! includes a free 6-week workshop series, featuring an easy-to-use virtual format with self-paced learning modules that include self-assessments, industry experts, video clips, TED Talks and peer collaboration.
PSAV Programs
POSTSECONDARY ADULT VOCATIONALOur Postsecondary Adult Vocational programs (PSAV) are designed to meet current and emerging industry needs and are offered in a condensed format that combines classroom instruction and hands-on training.
Sustainability
Our mission is to transform HCC into a participating sustainable member of society. Through a partnership among students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members, we seek to establish and nurture an institutional culture of sustainability.
Zero Textbook Cost
A Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) course is a course that requires no textbook cost for students. HCC is partnering with the Florida Virtual College on a statewide initiative to identify ZTC courses.
