    The Center for International Education (CIE) supports an international learning environment at HCC through international (F-1) student recruitment, and admission and comprehensive orientation, advising and programming services. It also promotes study abroad programs, supports faculty professional development and facilitates initiatives aimed at internationalizing the curriculum.

    English for Academic Purposes

    HCC offers English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses on three campuses: Dale Mabry, SouthShore and Ybor City. The curriculum is designed for students who plan to study at a U.S. college or university, or seek better employment opportunities.

    An exciting partnership between the University of South Florida (USF) and eight Florida colleges including HCC, the FUSE program provides seamless pathways for students to earn both an associate degree and a bachelor's degree.

    IGNITE

    GUARANTEED TRANSFER TO FAMU

    IGNITE is a program between Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and several Florida College System institutions, including HCC. It is designed to provide seamless pathways to get both an Associate of Arts degree at HCC and a bachelor degree from FAMU.

    Let's Get 2 Work

    Get A Great Job, Let’s Get to Work! includes a free 6-week workshop series, featuring an easy-to-use virtual format with self-paced learning modules that include self-assessments, industry experts, video clips, TED Talks and peer collaboration.

    Operation College is an adult education program at the Ybor City campus that prepares students to get a high school diploma and transition into HCC or other career pathways.

    Zero Textbook Cost

    A Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) course is a course that requires no textbook cost for students. HCC is partnering with the Florida Virtual College on a statewide initiative to identify ZTC courses.
