HCC has different tuition rates depending on whether or not you meet state residency requirements. Find out if you meet residency requirements and which documents you need to apply.

Complete our online application as a transfer student. Before you begin, be sure to decide what program you wish to apply for and review our residency requirements.

Complete your Certificate of Eligibility. When applying for benefits, please enter the school's address as: 1602 N. 15th St., Tampa, FL 33605.

Please Note: You can continue on to your next steps to enroll while waiting for your Certificate of Eligibility to be processed. 

Review our Paying for College to see your options for paying tuition not covered by your benefits. Apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA.

In order to be degree-seeking and receive financial aid, request official final high school transcripts with your graduation date, GED, college or other transcripts as soon as possible.

As a transfer student you are required to complete our Online Orientation.

For advising purposes, provide high school permanent record summary worksheet (if final high school transcript not received), copies of test scores, and/or unofficial college transcripts if applicable.

Complete the electronic Certification Request Form.

If it is your first term applying for benefits you must upload additional documentation with your Certification Request. Please see our Required Documents and Forms page for your Chapter's requirements.

Submit your payment for any charges not covered by financial aid or other benefits. Enroll in Tuition Installment Plans (TIPS).
