HCC has different tuition rates depending on whether or not you meet state residency requirements. Check out our residency page to determine if you meet the requirements and which documents you’ll need to apply.

Complete our online application as a Former Student Returning. Be sure you know what program you wish to apply for and have carefully reviewed our page on Residency before you begin. 

Complete the Certificate of Eligibility and make sure your information is current and your school is HCC. 

Please Note: You can continue on to your next steps to enroll while waiting for your Certificate of Eligibility to be processed. 

Review our Paying for College web page to view options for paying tuition. Apply for financial aid by completing FAFSA.

In order to be degree-seeking and receive financial aid, request official final high school transcripts with graduation date, GED, college or other transcripts as soon as possible.

As a former student returning, you are required to complete our Online Orientation.

For advising purposes, provide high school permanent record summary worksheet (if final high school transcript not received), copies of test scores, and/or unofficial college transcripts if applicable.

To connect with a representative from the Veteran Student Affairs office, walk in to campus or schedule an appointment.

Complete the electronic Certification Request Form.

If it is your first term applying for benefits you must upload additional documentation with your Certification Request. Please see our Required Documents and Forms page for your Chapter's requirements.

Submit payment for any charges not covered by financial aid or other benefits. Enroll in Tuition Installment Plans (TIPS).
